Directions: Align the nail and cut a little at a time from underneath at a 45-degree angle. Avoid trimming into the quick (blood vessels). On light-coloured nails, the quick appears as a pink area inside the nail. On dark nails, check from underneath the nail. If bleeding occurs, stop immediately and apply a styptic liquid or powder.
